In a recent article with the Journal of Management Studies, Prof. Hao Tan challenges simplistic classifications of socio-economic systems in management and organisation research. Instead, he calls for richer historical and empirical analysis of institutional contexts to better capture the complex and hybrid nature of socio-economic systems in a multipolar world.
